The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions is to set out the terms and conditions and data management principles governing registration, cancellation, and participation in programs organized by Dr. Júlia Gyulai, sole proprietor (hereinafter: Service Provider), as well as other services provided by the Service Provider.

By using the www.juliachants.com website, registering on it, applying via the internet interface, and participating in the program, the applicant declares that they have read and accepted the terms and conditions of application, cancellation, participation, and services for the programs, data management rules, and agrees to all points thereof.

 

The Service Provider primarily recommends the programs to adults; minors may only participate with the written permission of the person(s) exercising parental authority, provided that they are at least 16 years of age.

 

Programs are held with at least five applicants, but the Service Provider may decide otherwise on a case-by-case basis.

If any program is not held for reasons beyond the control of the applicants (including cases where the minimum number of participants required to start the course is not reached), the participation fee already paid may be used for any program with available places. In the event of a difference in fees, the applicant and the Service Provider shall consult with each other.

 

1. Conditions of participation

On the website www.juliachants.com, we offer the opportunity to participate in various programs organized by the Service Provider and advertised on the website, including yoga classes, individual consultations, workshops with in-person and online participation, retreats, collectively referred to as "program(s)".

 

You can apply for the programs after registering on the www.juliachants.com website.

Gift voucher holders also need to register online to book an appointment.

By using the www.juliachants.com website, registering on it, applying via the internet interface, and participating in the program, the applicant declares that they have read and accepted the terms and conditions of application, cancellation, participation, and services for the programs, data management rules, and agrees to all points thereof.

 

The Service Provider primarily recommends the programs to adults; minors may only participate with the written permission of the person(s) exercising parental authority, provided that they are at least 16 years of age.

 

Programs are held with at least five applicants, but the Service Provider may decide otherwise on a case-by-case basis.

In the event of a difference in fees, the applicant and the Service Provider shall consult with each other.

 

If the applicant does not wish to take advantage of the opportunity to participate in this way, the Service Provider will refund the program participation fee within 30 days of receiving notification of this request.

 

Participants will be registered based on the date of submission of their application, and the participation fee will be paid in accordance with the provisions of Section 5, "Participation Fees." The applicant's participation in the program will be secured upon submission of the application and payment of the participation fee (in some cases, an advance payment).

 

How to apply for the program:

Start by clicking on the "Apply" or "Book now" button on the program data sheet.

 

The system will ask the applicant to provide some personal information if they have not registered before.

 

The system will send an automatic email to the applicant confirming the order and providing information on how to pay the remaining participation fee, if the full fee has not been paid at the time of application.

 

The ordered program must be paid for in advance, primarily by credit card, secondarily by bank transfer or voucher. For certain programs – which can be found on the application interface – it is possible to pay the participation fee in two installments.

 

Applicants can obtain further information about the order by contacting the Service Provider at any of the contact details provided.

 

2. Rules of participation

Participation in all events provided or organized by the Service Provider is open to anyone in accordance with these general terms and conditions, subject to the following restrictions.

 

The Service Provider or a person acting on its behalf who is present at the event is entitled to exclude from participation in the event, in particular, anyone who

those who do not meet basic hygiene requirements, i.e. refuse to wash despite the facilities provided at the venue;

 

those whose health or personal hygiene clearly endangers the health of other participants in the program;

 

deliberately or repeatedly violates the safety rules that are mandatory at the venue and communicated prior to the program;

 

endangers the physical integrity of the program participants through their behavior, either intentionally or through gross negligence;

 

violates the basic ethical rules of social cooperation through their behavior;

 

deliberately hinders or prevents the event from taking place;

 

fails to pay the participation fee even after being asked to do so.

 

The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse the participant's application for further programs if the participant has been excluded from participating in the event for the reasons stated above.

 

Participants are only allowed to use the building where the programs take place, its equipment, and the tools provided for the purposes and in the manner specified in these GTC, and they are responsible for any damage caused by their behavior.

3.The course of each program

General conditions related to the programs

The Service Provider shall not be liable for accidents caused by the participant's own fault or the fault of another participant in the program.

In all cases, the Service Provider shall take a report on the spot of any accident involving personal injury, which shall be certified by the signature of the Service Provider present as an instructor or program leader, and, if necessary, by the signature of any other person present.

 

The Service Provider reserves the exclusive right to determine the course of the program.

 

If the applicant has any health conditions or psychological disorders that may prevent or limit their participation in the event, they are obliged to notify the Service Provider in advance, at the time of registration for the event, but no later than 72 hours prior to the event.

It is the applicant's responsibility to report this or to fail to do so.

 

 

A detailed description of all programs can be found on the Service Provider's website. If you have any further questions, you can send an inquiry to the Service Provider, who undertakes to respond within 5 working days of receipt.
 

Yoga class

The duration of the "Astanga Vinyasa MYSORE" yoga class varies depending on the condition and experience of the participants, but is usually 90 minutes but no longer than 120 minutes. Participants arrive at the practice location between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., and the practice lasts until 8:00 a.m. at the latest.

The yoga class called "Ashtanga Vinyasa LED Primary" lasts 120 minutes, in which case it is advisable to arrive at the yoga class location at least 10 minutes before the start, as all participants start the practice together at 6:00 a.m.

 

Participants may use their own equipment during the yoga class, but the yoga studio where the class is held will provide the necessary equipment.

Workshop with personal attendance

Depending on the theme, the duration of the workshop varies from time to time, usually lasting 240 minutes, a whole day or even several days, but in any case, it is advisable to arrive at the venue at least 10 minutes before the start.

In the event of a participant's delay, we are unable to extend the duration of the workshop, but the participant may still join if they arrive no more than 30 minutes after the announced start time of the program. If the delay exceeds 30 minutes, the applicant will not be able to join the program events, and the Service Provider is not obliged to refund the participation fee, unless the applicant proves that the delay was not their fault.
 

Workshop with live online attendance

The duration of the workshop varies depending on the topic, but is usually 240 minutes long. In any case, it is advisable to log in to the online platform at least 10 minutes before the start by clicking on the connection link provided by the Service Provider.

In the event of a late arrival, we are unable to extend the duration of the workshop, but late arrivals are entitled to join with their microphones muted, without disturbing other participants or the event.

Live online programs are always recorded and are only accessible to applicants for 30 days from the date of recording, after which the Service Provider will delete the video material from the storage space. By participating, the applicant consents to the recording. If they do not wish to appear in the recording, they may participate in the program with their camera and microphone turned off.

Retreat, yoga camp

The retreat is usually a multi-day event, which may take place within or outside the administrative borders of Hungary. All information, such as duration, location, theme, and participation fee, can be found on the website in the event description.

 

In the event of a late arrival, we are unable to extend the duration of the retreat, but late arrivals are entitled to join the program if they arrive at the program location by 10:00 p.m. on the announced start date.
 

The Service Provider undertakes to immediately notify the contact person voluntarily and optionally provided by the applicant (name and telephone number of the contact person) in the event of an accident or other emergency.

 

Individual consultation

Individual consultations presented on the Service Provider's website, such as Ayurvedic counseling, Vedic horoscope analysis, Marma-Abhyanga therapy, or the eight-session personal consultation series called "The Art of Self-Realization" - can be accessed by contacting the website and making an appointment.

 

A detailed description of each type of consultation can be found on the website.

Életkör

Életkör is a series of online programs developed by the Service Provider, as well as a video and document archive filled with offline content. The offline content can be viewed an unlimited number of times, and certain documents can be downloaded, but they are only available to members with an active subscription to the Életkör service.

 

The offline content may not be reproduced, distributed, or used in any form without the written permission of the author, the Service Provider.
 

Live online events are always recorded and can only be accessed by applicants with an active subscription for 30 days from the date of recording. After 30 days, the Service Provider will delete the video material from the storage space. By participating, the applicant consents to the recording. If they do not wish to appear in the recording, they may participate in the program with their camera and microphone turned off.

 

The service is available for a monthly subscription fee, payable 30 days after the fee is paid, which can be settled via the website as a credit card transaction.

The next subscription fee will be automatically charged based on the bank details provided earlier. Prior to the charge, the applicant will receive a notification at the registered email address 3 calendar days before the due date.

The service can be canceled on the due date.

Products

Products can also be purchased through the Service Provider's website, which requires prior registration.

After logging in, the selected product can be purchased by placing it in the "Shopping Cart" and paying by credit card.

The product may not be reproduced, distributed or used in any form without the written permission of the author - the Service Provider.

 

4.Contact

Contact with applicants will be made via the email address or telephone number provided during online registration.

The Service Provider is not responsible for the availability of the telephone number or email address provided, or for the functioning of the telephone or email service. The Service Provider is not liable for any damages resulting from failure to contact the applicant for this reason.

 

 

5.Participation fees

The participation fee for yoga classes includes the theoretical and practical knowledge provided by a certified yoga instructor.

For other programs, a summary of the theoretical and practical knowledge available in exchange for the participation fee is included in the description of the event.

The participation fee is stated as a net price. The Service Provider has the exclusive right to offer any installment payment discounts.

 

Prices are for informational purposes only. The possibility that the Service Provider may modify prices for business policy reasons cannot be ruled out. Price changes do not apply to contracts that have already been concluded. If the Service Provider has incorrectly stated the price, it shall proceed in accordance with the "Incorrect price" section of the GTC in the case of contracts that have already been concluded.

 

Procedure in case of incorrect pricing

The following are considered to be clearly incorrect prices:

a price of 0 HUF;

 

a price reduced by a discount but incorrectly displaying the discount (e.g., a product or service offered for 500 HUF with a 20% discount displayed on a product costing 1000 HUF);

 

a price incorrectly displayed on the website due to an external software error.

 

 

In the event of an incorrect price being displayed, the Service Provider offers the option of purchasing at the actual price. Once in possession of the correct information, the Customer may decide to purchase at the actual price or cancel the order without any adverse legal consequences.

6. Payment method

Payment by credit card via the internet

Based on a contract to this effect, Stripe Inc. provides the Service Provider with the option of accepting cards via its website through its secure card acceptance system using SSL protocol.

The Service Provider does not have access to the card details, account details, number or expiry date of the applicant in any form and cannot view them.

 

During the credit card payment process, the information and rules of the Stripe Inc. system regarding payment management must be taken into account.

The Service Provider is not responsible for any problems arising in connection with the operation or availability of the Stripe Inc. system.

The merchant does not receive the credit card details. Stripe Inc., the service provider, is an institution supervised by the Hungarian National Bank.

 

Bank transfer

Applicants shall pay the participation fee for the selected program by bank transfer, provided that this option is offered in the registration form or in the confirmation of registration. In the case of bank transfer, the application shall be activated after the payment has been credited to the Service Provider's bank account specified below.

Accordingly, it is advisable to initiate the transfer so that the participation fee is credited no later than the working day preceding the date of the program.

In the transfer message, the applicant – or, if the payment is made by a person other than the applicant, the payer – must indicate the applicant's name and the name of the program.

Voucher, gift certificate

Gift certificates are available on the Service Provider's website.

The voucher can be redeemed for any course or program advertised by the Service Provider and specified on the gift certificate.

The voucher is valid for one calendar year from the date of purchase.

 

Conditions for registration with a voucher:

The holder of the voucher can register for the program of their choice electronically – via the www.juliachants.com website – by entering the coupon code.

 

Registration with a voucher is activated automatically.

 

The Service Provider declares that the amount of the voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.

 

Cash payment

The participation fee can be paid in cash within 3 working days of registration at our Budapest office, but no later than the start of the program.

If the application is made within 3 days of the program date, the participation fee can also be paid on site upon arrival before the program.

 

7. Cancellation or modification of the event

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify the date or previously announced theme of the events.

 

The Service Provider shall notify applicants of any cancellation or change of date at least 24 hours before the course by sending an email to the email address provided during registration.

The provisions of Section 1 of these GTC shall apply to the refund of participation fees paid for canceled events or the possibility of using them for other events.

8. Cancellation conditions

The conditions for cancellation vary depending on when the applicant cancels before the date of the event. The start date of the program is indicated in the event description.

 

Applicants may notify us of their cancellation or withdrawal by sending an email to juliagyulai@icloud.com, using the sample statement in Annex 2 of Government Decree 45/2014. (II.26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses (hereinafter: Decree) or by means of a clear statement to that effect.

 

Participation in the program is not personal and may be transferred. The participant is required to provide credible proof of the transfer of participation. In addition to the above, the rules of the Regulation shall apply to the exercise of the right of withdrawal/termination.

 

There is no refund of the participation fee for applicants who register with a voucher.

Cancellation 14 or more than 14 days before the start of the program

The applicant is entitled to cancel their participation without giving a reason up to 14 days prior to the selected event (excluding yoga classes, which are subject to a separate protocol, see the section entitled "Cancellation of yoga classes"), i.e. to withdraw from the contract concluded under these GTC without penalty.

Following withdrawal under this clause, the participation fee already paid may be used for any program. If the applicant withdrawing from the contract under this clause does not wish to participate in another program or a similar or identical program at another time, the Service Provider shall refund the amount paid in advance within 5 working days of being notified in writing of the withdrawal, using the same payment method used by the applicant.

Cancellation 14 days before the start of the program

In the event of withdrawal within 14 days prior to the program, 50% of the participation fee shall be payable as a penalty. Applicants who withdraw within the deadline specified in this section shall be entitled to a refund of 50% of the participation fee already paid for the program.

 

Cancellation 24 hours before the start of the program

In the event of cancellation within 24 hours prior to the event, especially for retreat-type programs, the participation fee already paid will not be refunded.

 

Cancellation of yoga classes

Cancellations of yoga classes must be made at least 12 hours before the start of the class on the Service Provider's registration platform.

If the cancellation is not made by the above deadline, the system will automatically treat the applicant as a participant and deduct the class.

9. Data processing

The Service Provider processes personal data in connection with this contract. With regard to data processing, the Service Provider shall act in accordance with Act CXII of 2011 on the right to self-determination and freedom of information, as well as the basic rules for the processing of personal data set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR).

 

When registering for programs, the Service Provider treats the personal data it obtains as confidential and does not disclose it to third parties.

 

When browsing the Service Provider's website, technical information is recorded (e.g., in the form of log files containing the user's IP address, the time, and the URL of the page visited), which cannot be used for personal identification but serves statistical purposes.

The system also stores data on the user's computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are not suitable for identifying the user and are valid for the duration of the session.

To use the online application system, you must enable cookies in your browser, otherwise certain functions will not work.

 

An invoice will be issued for the service ordered, which will be stored in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

 

The data subject may request the modification or deletion of their data from the system at any time in writing.

The email address provided when registering for the program will automatically be added to the Service Provider's newsletter database. Applicants are entitled to request removal from the newsletter subscriber list at any time without their application being deleted. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter by letter, email, or by clicking on the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the newsletters.
